The End...?

By now, I'm sure many of you are aware of the details concerning the recent 4chan hack, so I'll spare you all the explanation. The main issue is getting things organized from now on. I'm not even sure this site is checked regularly, but I'll throw my line out anyways.

I'll keep hosting going regardless for the archive, and still try to host weekend shit. That being said, if 4chan (and by extension /exeg/) ends up staying gone for too long, or ends up disappearing completely, I'll call it quits. Not like I can keep up with it anyways, what with having a life that I need to attend to. It's a passion project I unfortunately have little time for, and I think it'll be for the best when all is said and done. Who knows? Maybe it'll come back, or reincarnate, or whatever...

If that ever happens and you would be interested in taking over the project, contact me. I'll hand over the domain, the Git repo, and any relevant game server files/info. For now, see you (most) every saturday.

UPDATE: 4chan is alive again, as of yesterday (2025-4-25). Looks like things'll resume as "normal" after all.
